Tara’s passion throughout her work is to use her own story and the stories of countless others in the LGBTQ+ community to support, inspire, and grow together. Social justice action is a part of her DNA; she fights for those who cannot fight for themselves, and she recognizes this as a privilege. QueerPsych is a labor of love dedicated to helping those who are in search of safe and queer-affirming mental health and wellness support. 

In addition to her role at QueerPsych, Tara is also the President and Co-founder of the Alana Faith Chen Foundation. AFCF is a 501c3 nonprofit that offers free to low-cost therapeutic grants for those in the LGBTQ+ community suffering from SI and other serious mental health concerns who cannot afford the help they deserve. Zoe Stoller

Zoe Stoller, MSS, LSW is an award-winning licensed social worker, writer, educator, content creator and speaker based in Philadelphia and New York City.

​She creates educational content about the LGBTQ+ and mental health communities on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, where they have formed a community of over 100,000 followers.

In addition, Zoe frequently shares his story of self-discovery at podcasts, schools, news outlets, non-profit organizations, and other communities to spread visibility and inspire others to be their fullest, most authentic selves.

 

 In her spare time, Zoe loves to play video games, connect with her community, and spend time with her dog Winnie.

Jenni Chapman

Nonbinary, queer, and neurodivergent. After coming out in college and discovering they were autistic at 25, Jenni has created a life for herself where she can truly thrive thanks to years of hard work and access to affirming therapy! 

Jenni oversees and participates in the creation of QueerPsych’s social media assets and creates strategies for QueerPysch’s social media and email marketing. She considers herself lucky to be able to work for an organization with a mission that is so close to her heart.

In addition to their work with QueerPsych, Jenni provides content creation and marketing services for other LGBTQ+ organizations. She owns a successful wedding and portrait photography business centered on confidence and self-love through creative empowerment!

Lyric Rivera

They/Them

Lyric Rivera is a trans-nonbinary, Autistic self-advocate who runs the internationally recognized NeuroDivergent Rebel blog. Lyric is also the Owner of NeuroDivergent Consulting, and the author of the best-selling business ethics book, Workplace NeuroDiversity Rising, praised in Forbes as “an excellent ‘how to manual’ based on lived experience and professional Competence.”


The NeuroDivergent Rebel was started in the fall of 2016 as a way to introduce people unfamiliar with the concept of Neurodiversity to this new way of seeing neurological differences. The blog, which is sometimes released in written format and sometimes as a YouTube video, explores the ideology of Neurodiversity and the creative expressions of Autistic people. Lyric Rivera’s blog pushes for acceptance of neurological differences and respect for the autonomy of NeuroDivergent people. Lyric Rivera has a diverse business background, and in the past, Lyric has successfully worked to help organizations of all sizes but will admit to having a soft spot for startups and small businesses.

Kayla Bell-Consolver, MS., LMHC

Kayla Bell-Consolver is an EMDR, IFS Level 1, and DBT trained Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa, specializing in trauma, inner child work, and shame, with a passion for serving BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. She has extensive experience with public speaking and educational trainings, especially from an inclusive lens.

From a young age, she had a desire to help others in an intentional and inclusive way. Mental Health therapy is not always accessible, therefore she was dedicated to exploring ways to enhance accessibility through presentations, public speaking, and remaining an active participant in community and systemic change.

Kayla Bell-Consolver provides a comprehensive set of trainings that can help boost your confidence in helping yourself, clients, or staff with mental health challenges through various speaking and educational training engagements. She works closely with partners and organizations to achieve their desired goals and ensure that attendees leave inspired and rejuvenated. Nia Patterson

They/Them

Nia Patterson is a well-respected Black and Queer mental health advocate, social activist, artist, content creator, podcaster, and business and body image coach. They are the creator behind TheFriendINeverWanted and the artist behind Self Love Tool Chest. They are also the host and producer of the Body Trauma Podcast. Their work is mainly centered around Eating Disorder Recovery, Body Liberation, Fat Activism, LGBTQIA2S+, and Body Acceptance work.

In 2023 Nia launched Breaking Body Barriers, a 1:1 Body Liberation Coaching program for fat femmes and thems who are seeking to challenge systemic oppressive beliefs of unworthiness and claim their rightful space in the world. Nia is passionate about advocating for people in marginalized bodies and seeks to bring resources to those who do not readily see representation and healthcare for themselves.

Dr. Jennifer Towns

She/Her

In addition to having a PhD in Clinical Social Work and being a Licensed Master Social Worker, Dr. Jennifer Towns has over 15 years of clinical experience providing mental health services for trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, grief, and family and relationship issues. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems skills, parts work and ego state therapy, DBT, TF-CBT, and is a Certified Trauma Specialist. She also is an educator and teaches social work at the collegiate level.

Dr Haviva Malina, MD

Dr. Haviva Malina, a licensed Emergency Medicine physician with over 15 years of ER experience, became a proponent of ketamine therapy after witnessing its transformative effects on patients with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD and other mood disorders. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completing her residency training at the combined Jacobi/ Montefiore EM Program. Dr. Malina later moved to her role as an attending physician at Hoboken University Medical Center, New Jersey.

Dr. Malina’s interest in ketamine therapy was spurred by her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she observed an increase in acute psychiatric cases and recognized the urgent need for more effective treatments. Motivated by the need for effective mood disorder treatments, she founded Keta Medical Center. Dr. Malina champions the benefits of ketamine and its ability to provide substantial improvements in patients’ functionality and well-being. At her clinic, she ensures a supportive environment, collaborates on comprehensive treatment plans, and advocates for better access to therapies like Spravato.

Dr. Malina is deeply committed to patient safety, personalized care, and holistic treatment. She finds great satisfaction in the positive transformations she witnesses in her patients, valuing the continuous care and strong relationships she builds with them. Through her work at Keta Medical Center, Dr. Malina continues to advance mental health care, offering hope and healing to those battling mood disorders.
