We’re trying to make the “find a safe-for-me” research process as simple as possible. That means an easy-to-browse database that centralizes all the information prospective clients need to find the right provider. When someone lands on our directory, they type in their search criteria (location, type of therapy, insurance, etc.), and our directory will match available providers (that means you) who fit their search.
We even make the contact process super easy! Your profile allows new clients to reach out directly to your practice and get scheduled for that initial session.

What is the QueerSafe Verification™ Process?
Wait.
No AI here! A member of our QueerSafe verification team will review all your provided information over the next 2-3 business days. During this time, your profile will have a “pending verification” status.
If during your profile review our team determines they need more information or clarification–they will reach out to you.
Submit.
Once you’ve selected your plan, you’ll be taken to our Directory Registration form. This is where you’ll enter all the information about you and your practice. It’s important to be as thorough and detailed as possible, as the information provided will be populated into your directory profile.
Please note your license number is required to submit your registration form.
Celebrate.
Once your verification is complete, your profile will be live in the directory. You’ll then receive confirmation of your verification, which will include details about how to maximize your directory membership and your QueerPsych Verified Badge!
For the first 45 days, your profile will show up in our recently added profiles section of our homepage, as well as mentions in social media posts and our monthly newsletter.
We love showcasing Directory Members, so in addition to highlighting members on our Social Media and newsletter, we also reach out to members for input. As a resource for the Queer and Neurodivergent communities, our blog provides information on queer and Neurodivergent life, Parenting Queer Kiddos, and Mental Health Knowledge. Throughout the month, we post articles from different perspectives of our members (that’s you!) on different therapy modalities, how to make the most of therapy, and articles written by experts in various fields.
Not to mention, QueerPsych Directory Members have the unique opportunity to submit Articles for publication on our website. These are perfect opportunities to showcase your practice, share your expertise, and add additional online connection points. Your Profile Confirmation email will have all the details on how to participate in these member-only opportunities.

Wondering how your QueerPsych Directory Profile improves your online visibility?
Having an online presence that carries weight isn’t as easy as creating a LinkedIn profile or website. Although those things give you a virtual footprint, that doesn’t mean your profiles and websites will appear in easy-to-find places. With so many new things popping up on the internet, it’s sometimes hard to make your practice’s information make the search result cut.
Here’s a little marketing lesson for the day: the key to making sure you and your practice pop up in AI and Rich Search Results requires links. Backlinks, to be specific. The more links that connect to your website, the better your odds of showing up on the first page of those search results become. It takes a lot of online connections to help those new AI search tools and significant search engines to know your practice is alive and thriving.
Register clinicians as you grow. After verifying your practice, you’ll receive a unique code to register your clinicians. This will make sure that each plan receives the correct Multi-Clinician Practice pricing.
Each Clinician will get their profile under your practice. These profiles will be where clinicians can go into more detail about themselves and their expertise.
Like an individual clinician, your practice must register on QueerPsych. This profile is for your clinic and will link to all your registered clinicians.
