What you can expect in our work together
Roshni identifies as an Indian dyke/lesbian therapist and grounds her practice in intersectional feminism, trauma-informed care, and LGBTQ+ affirmation. She is dedicated to flattening hierarchy in the therapy room, empowering clients as the experts of their own experience. Her clinical lens integrates EMDR, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, always centering authenticity and collaboration.
How I support healing
Roshni is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, Approved Consultant, and EMDR Trainer. Her specialties include working with LGBTQ+ couples and families, survivors of sexual violence, people navigating addiction, neurodivergent clients (especially ADHD), narcissistic abuse recovery, and those living with chronic pain or illness. She has also served as a leader in nonprofit and crisis work, including years of service in the Rape Crisis Movement and as a Program Manager in Wraparound services for families navigating oppressive systems.
A little about me
Beyond her professional life, Roshni enjoys gardening, playing music, and riding her bike in Long Beach, California. She describes herself as committed to both community healing and joy—even while “busy trying to take over the world.”
