It’s hard out here
Existing in a society marked by injustice and pain can feel overwhelming. Many of us carry trauma, anxiety, and disconnection from our sense of self-worth. That can leave us feeling isolated, misunderstood, or ashamed. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you deserve compassionate support as you heal.
Healing from complex trauma and harmful relationships
I am passionate about working with people who have experienced complex and relational trauma, queer and gender-expansive people, and those navigating anxiety, boundaries, and people-pleasing. I have particular experience supporting survivors of relationship abuse—whether that harm came from a partner, family member, friend, or another close relationship. Together, we’ll rebuild your sense of self-trust, safety, and connection, always at a pace that feels right for you.
Therapy built around you
My style is warm, welcoming, and flexible. I know that healing looks different for everyone, so I create a validating, gender-affirming, trauma-informed space where you can bring your full self. For neurodivergent folks, I center flexibility and creativity. That might mean incorporating music, art, games, or role-play into sessions—whatever supports your process best.
Grounded in care, community, and justice
My work is rooted in person-centered therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care, with additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also approach therapy through an abolitionist lens, recognizing how systemic injustice shapes our mental health and how community can be an essential part of healing.
A little about me
When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me behind a drum set or learning bass guitar. I share my home with two cats—Buffy (named after the vampire slayer) and Misty (named after a D&D spell). I also love reading multiple books at once: usually one nonfiction, one thought-provoking fiction, and one just for fun. If you’re curious about what working together might look like, you can schedule a free 15-minute consult.
