Maria Cabrera, AMFT (she/her/ella) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, providing therapy in both English and Spanish. She supports couples, teens, adults, and families through challenges related to stress, anxiety, trauma, and family conflict. Integrating specialized training in EMDR and Brainspotting, Maria helps clients process difficult experiences and rediscover balance.

She also supports caretakers, families navigating special education, and those impacted by domestic violence, physical trauma, or temporary homelessness. Grounded in compassion and respect, Maria helps clients transform stress into self-awareness and healing.

Maria earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, supervised by the Clinical Team at growURpotential. Fluent in English and Spanish, she believes therapy is a collaborative journey toward calm, confidence, and connection. Outside the therapy room, Maria values community, mindfulness, and restorative work that strengthens families across Los Angeles.
