Lexi has extensive experience working with mood and anxiety disorders with adolescents, adults, families, and groups in a variety of therapeutic settings, including residential hospitalization, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. In addition, Lexi specializes in working with individuals, families, and chosen families experiencing eating disorders, navigating body image work and self-acceptance, navigating gender-affirming care, support with emotional and physical trauma, and mood and emotional regulation diagnoses, including neurodivergent identities.
Lexi is a fat-positive, genderqueer practitioner who is passionate about helping people process trauma resulting from fatphobia, oppression, and size discrimination. She balances a HAES perspective with various modalities of therapy based on the needs of the client, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic processing.
Lexi believes that holding a safe space for folks to grieve, heal, and grow is the foundation of a successful therapeutic alliance. She is dedicated to a person-first perspective and hopes to help gently guide folks on their journey toward mind and body liberation.
