Lauren Pass Erickson

About Lauren Pass Erickson

Embodied healing through movement

Lauren Pass Erickson, LPC, is a somatic therapist dedicated to helping clients reconnect with themselves through movement, creativity, and self-discovery. Her approach is rooted in the belief that transformation begins in the body, and that dance and embodiment can open the path toward healing, clarity, and joy.

What you can expect in our work together

Lauren specializes in creating meaningful, healing spaces where clients can explore identity, relationships, and resilience through somatic practices. Drawing on her own journey of coming home to herself through dance, she helps clients slow down, listen to their bodies, and uncover new ways of moving through challenges. Clients describe her as grounded, compassionate, and creative.

How I support healing

Lauren holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Somatic Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from Naropa University. She integrates trauma-informed, relational, and attachment-based approaches with mindfulness and body-based practices. Her additional training includes complex trauma, CPTSD, LGBTQ+ identity and mental health, and somatic-concentric sex therapy. Lauren is also a certified instructor in dance/movement meditation and mindfulness meditation, which she weaves into her therapy style.

A little about me

Lauren identifies as white, Buddhist, bisexual, and continues to explore the nuances of gender. She finds joy in live music, quiet moments in nature, gardening, and the creativity of the Burning Man community, where she has been active since age 18. She also serves on the board of Art in Community, a nonprofit supporting Burner-related art in Boulder. At home, Lauren shares her days with her husband and their beloved, opinionated cat, Pantalaimon.
