For us, by us.
Kasie Holmes, LMHC, M.A., M.S. (she/they) is the founder and sole therapist at Radical & Restorative Therapy, a practice born from lived experience with serious mental illness, an interdisciplinary academic background, and a passion for social justice. As a queer clinician, Kasie grounds her work in the belief that therapy should honor intersecting identities, challenge systems of oppression, and create space for both collective and individual healing.
What you can expect in our work together
Kasie believes people already hold the motivation and desire to heal emotional wounds and unconscious patterns. At times, these motivations are blocked by internal or external barriers. In therapy, Kasie serves as a guide and resource to help bring forward those inner motivations and work through what stands in the way. Clients can expect care that is collaborative, affirming, and rooted in curiosity and compassion.
How I support healing
Kasie’s approach integrates trauma-informed and person-centered therapies, cognitive behavioral and humanistic approaches, feminist and queer theories, mindfulness, and transpersonal therapies. With a Master’s in Women’s and Gender Studies (specializing in Public Health) and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Kasie considers how systems of oppression and privilege shape lived experiences, access to care, and experiences of trauma. Kasie is also certified in Hypnosis.
A little about me
As a queer person living with serious mental illness, Kasie brings both personal understanding and professional expertise to their practice. An active participant in anti-oppressive work, Kasie welcomes people from all intersecting identities and is committed to creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing.
