I’m Andrew Gordon (he/him) — a queer MFT-LP in New York. I help clients navigate identity, relationships, faith, and belonging through a warm, grounded, and relational presence. My style is compassionate, curious, and just playful enough to make the deep work feel human and doable.
Who I Work With
- Individuals exploring queer identity, faith, self-worth, and life transitions
- Couples (monogamous, open, or poly) strengthening communication and intimacy
- Families and chosen families navigating conflict, patterns, or emotional distance
What I Treat
- Anxiety, depression, shame, and relational wounds
- Trauma and attachment injuries
- Relationship challenges: boundaries, communication, trust
- Faith + sexuality integration
- Inner parts: self-criticism, people-pleasing, internal conflict
How I Work
My work is grounded in a trauma-centered, experiential approach. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and AEDP. Together, we slow down your internal world, tend to protective and wounded parts, and build new patterns of safety and connection — within yourself and in your relationships.
